Still Trending! – Everything Bagel Roasted Salmon

A number of years ago, I became a fan of the Everything Bagel seasoning and have since used it for a number of dishes, including a chicken dish, a sandwich, and a dip. The subtle onion flavor and crunch of the seasoning enhances many foods. The seasoning can be purchased in most major grocery stores or made at home from a mixture of poppy seeds, sesames seeds, dried onion, dried garlic, and salt. A link to the exact proportions is in the recipe below.

In this post, Everything Bagel seasoning augments salmon fillets. A sweet and tangy honey-mustard mixture is brushed on the fish first. Then the seasoning is sprinkled over top, adding texture and gustatory contrast to the tender fish.  The result is a wonderful, flavorfully balanced entrée.
