When this cocktail option popped up on my computer, it had Kelly (my daughter) written all over it. She has always loved apples. Apple cider is the main ingredient in this cocktail, providing the drink with the crisp and delicious flavor of apples. Once Kelly became a legal adult, she gravitated towards amaretto sours as her libation of choice, with its subtle almond taste and a hit of pucker in counterpoint to the sweet. The combination of apple, sweet, & sour is sure to resonate favorably with Kelly!
This Fall forward cocktail is made in a batch to serve an adult crowd. It works well for Halloween as well as many other Autumn events. Served cold, it offers a refreshing and crisp bite, just like the weather at this time of year!
