Conference Championship Weekend – Spicy Honey & Sriracha Chicken Dip

The two conference championship football games being played this weekend will determine who goes to Super Bowl LX in a few weeks. Both games will be played on Sunday. The AFC game will be a matchup between the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots. The NFC game will be between the Seattle Seahawks and the LA Rams. Both games promise to be good ones, but at this point, most predictions are that the Patriots will face off against the Seahawks in the February showdown.

We’ll be settling in for a day of football with some good food this weekend, including this dip. It starts with ground chicken that is quickly cooked. The rest of the ingredients are then added to the crock pot and cooked on low until the cheese is all melted and everything is warmed through. It’s creamy and hits three taste profiles – spicy, sweet, and salty. The heat and sweet can be adjusted for preferences. We like things a bit spicy with a hint of sweet. Three tablespoons of sriracha and two tablespoons of honey were perfect for our taste!
