Just a quick blog for the blizzard. We got through it with power!
Something north of 3 feet accumulated on the back deck.
Very thankful to have heat!
The bottom of the squirrel baffle is usually 3 feet off the ground!
We came up with a cocktail to keep us warm! We call it the Blizzard! Go figure!

Blizzard Cocktail (serves 2)
- 4 shots white rum
- 3 shots Bailey’s Irish Cream
- 2 parts Amaretto or Frangelico, whichever you prefer
Fill a martini shaker 2/3rds of the way full with crushed ice. Add all the alcohol & shake for 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately and drink SLOWLY!

I loved the pictures! The drink looks great… I might have to convince Kelly to bring the “Blizzard” to PA.
This all makes me want to be with you in North Granbery – bury? Shovel. blow, eat, drink, and be merry! Would love to be snowed in for a day or two. Not only has Mother Nature shorted us on the rain, but now she won’t give us any snow either.
I’d be happy to send you some of our 2+ feet of snow! In lieu of that, come visit any time!
Well, we didn’t get the snow in Maryland, but I think it’s cold enough for a Blizzard cocktail! Sounds yummy!
